Village of GhostLight
The cathedral doors opened as Meredith and the Faceless Knight entered. Behind them the hordes of undead collided with doors and surround the building. The Scarlet Knight knelt over the dust and empty robes of Izohra, resting on her long thin sword that resembled a crucifix with it's extended handle and cross guard.
Meredith saw the remains of Izohra. Without looking back the Scarlet Knight answered, "A Blood Witch. The priestess of this cathedral has been corrupted as the red wizard before her. This other power from the Underworld, the flame in the cage are connected." Meredith looks to the flame as glass shatters and the undead begin to enter. The Scarlet Knight stands and helps defend the cathedral with the Faceless Knight.
A unstable red magic bursts from the keeps tower and ascends into the swirling sky. It mixes with that of the ghost light and becomes a whirlwind. Inside the cathedral, Meredith uses a great deal of her power to implode the cage and drown the ghost light in sunlight. Remains and whispers fall back to the ground, however the hordes continue their assault.
Meredith walks to the edge of the cathedral. The beam of ghost light ascends into the sky and mist from the water fall onto her face. The two Knights continue their defense behind her. She looks down at the glowing pyramid. Using all her strength and power she brings down light from above. Together with her magic and the directed sun beam, she brings down the cliffs around the pyramid as the sunlight scorches the tip of the pyramid.
Meredith falls back exhausted. Unable to defeat the hordes, the Knights return to Meredith who sits with stem rising from her back and arms. At once the hordes fall silent. Their glowing teal eyes turn dark and they stop moving. The three look to them in relief and confusion, only to see their eyes turn to glowing red with crackling purple lighting. Above the sunlight fades away as the whirlwind of crimson and darkness fills the sky. The Knights help Meredith up and clear a path to the graveyard, in the hope of finding the missing Indigo Knight.
