Part 2 (D.O.K.)
Despair of Knowledge part two

I have divided our group into two parts. My brother Yves will head south with his group and continue his studies on the monoliths. My group and I will head north to the straight between the continents of Minuit and Erweathleon. There we will study the ruins of a sunken city.

The monolith we found earlier this month has depictions of multiple locations of old ruins. I give you my word, your majesty. I will find out the truth behind these rumors of ancient civilizations and the culprits behind the resent murders. - Larkin, Sep. 26th 1822

Divers in their heavy iron suits descending on diving bells have worked tirelessly. We have found the underwater ruin and have made detailed maps along with copies of writings. Many depictions tell of anther land mass far into the unknown reaches of the western ocean Depictions of semi human aquatic creatures are also in abundance here. Our findings take us to the northern village of Media, located on the tip of Minuit.

An uneasy feeling takes hold of me. The inhabitants here act strange and distant. The group does not feel welcomed in this town. Many of the people hide their faces and other exposed parts of their bodies with layers of heavy clothes. There is a smell too, I expected a normal fish smell but this odor and around the village is horrid to say the least. The shoreline is also coated in a thick black goo. A mix between an algae and oil like substance. All plant and animal life in a ten mile radius are dead or found in a state of decay. A sickness plagues this land, we will not linger here for long. - Larkin Nov. 5, 1822.
